February Classes

I love this show

If you haven't seen this show yet .... you should, we have it set to record so we won't miss anything. Today I saw a few of the shows and they were really good. The 3 I watched were about digging and places to dig for $50 a day for Turquoise, Star Garnets, and Tourmaline.

Here is what the Travel Channel has to say about the show.

Do you love the idea of striking it rich, but don't know where to look?
On Cash and Treasures we'll explore the riches that are all around us. Each week host Kirsten Gum takes viewers on an exciting, fun-filled journey to uncover lost relics, buried jewels and other valuable items - at real locations that are accessible to the public.

In pursuit of each treasure, Kirsten brings viewers along as she turns up unexpected finds. How much are these treasures worth? Find out when certified appraisers price them in our final "Show Me the Money!" reveal.

Don't miss the all new season of 'Cash and Treasures,' every Wednesday starting at 10 p.m. ET. Check out the TV schedule.

Rock and Gem Show

Avi Casino and Resort in Laughlin is sponsoring the annual Clouds Jamboree
rock and gem show. I've been every year and it's pretty good especially if you
are a rock hound. It's right across the street from the Avi Hotel so we normally
stay overnight and then I can walk across the street to the rock show.
I won't have a chance to go this year, but Greg went last weekend and picked
up about a dozen rocks/slabs for me.

You might want to check it out, it's only 1 1/2 hours drive and the show is on for
this whole month.
